To conclude the ASPIRE (Atmospheric parameters affecting SPectral solar IRradiance and solar Energy) project, a one-day final Workshop was organized to present the key findings and results of the project.

The ASPIRE project was launched in May 2020 with the objective to contribute to the scientific knowledge of interdisciplinary aspects that are related with solar radiation by investigating the effect of various atmospheric parameters to the Spectral Solar Irradiance (SSI) reaching the Earth’s surface.

The final workshop will take place at the Department of Geology and Geoenvironment of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens on 14 November 2023.

The aim of the workshop is to:

  • Present the main outcomes of the ASPIRE project.
  • Support further research by providing information about the available database.
  • Encourage discussion with the participants.
